Buying a home is likely the single largest investment you'll make. We
take that seriously and understand that how well we do our job determines
how enjoyable the home-buying process will be for you.
Today's headlines continue to focus on the ups and downs of the banking
and mortgage markets. Credit and underwriting guidelines are changing
daily. One size doesn't fit all and the market sometimes dictates the
availability of funds through government and conventional financing.
Government financing is obtained through the Federal Housing Administration
(FHA), the Veterans' Administration (VA) or the United States Department of
Agriculture (USDA). Conventional financing is obtained through Fannie,
Freddie and private investors and banks.
As a result of the turmoil in the housing industry, there are currently very
few absolutes.
However, one absolute still exists. We are certain that we are capable of
educating any prospective buyer in the steps necessary to buy a home. To
do this, we believe it's best to sit down face to face to match up your
unique circumstances with the program that best fits you. While our initial
meeting may take several hours, we believe it's a worthwhile time investment
for both of us.
