When I decided to buy my home, I thought I would make it easy by going with a major bank for my loan. I decided to pick a large firm that was advertising and they told me I was prequalified at our first meeting. After not hearing from them for 2 weeks, I called them. One week later they got back with me and said everything was fine. This went on for two months. During each call they would assure me that they would close the loan soon, but never did.
